José --
The first debate of the general election is this Friday, September 26th at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. For many Americans, this will be the first chance to get to know Barack and see for themselves that he is the candidate who will bring the change this country needs. It's also a perfect opportunity to reach out to your friends, family, and neighbors and help build this movement. Invite them over to watch the debate and talk about the issues that are important in their lives.
Across the country, families are struggling to make sense of this past week's economic headlines. They're looking for leadership that will fix our economy and make this country better for all Americans -- not just the wealthy and connected. Hosting a Debate Watch Party is an easy way to reach out to folks in your community and spread the word about Barack's plans for real change on these important issues. It's also a fun way to have a discussion with your friends and neighbors about the issues that are important in your lives -- and how you can work together to create change from the bottom up. We'll provide you with everything you need to host a Debate Watch Party, including videos and fliers about our exciting Neighbor to Neighbor program that will give supporters a way to get more involved in the campaign.
