O dr. Vasco Pulido Valente tem (nas suas últimas crónicas) explicado as razões profundas do amor entre o P.M. eleito em 2005 e o bom povo. Cabe ao CLDI um esforço (igualmente profundo) só que baseado em debate -projecto sempre audacioso nesta "terrinha"...

Pode ser um auxiliar para este debate do Estado da Nação um report, publicado faz um ano, pelo Professor Michael A. Weinstein, responsável pela ciência política na Purdue University (USA)- No interessante site pertencente ao Power and Interest News Report este académico diz muita coisa que por cá não ouvimos dizer (assim a frio pelo menos!!!!)

In order to support the technological shock, Socrates also promised to reform the country's educational system and to set up job training programs. He said that he would seek the help of the business community to realize his goals, which, he admitted, could not be achieved by state activity alone.
